Tristan Vauclair (born February 13, 1985 in Bern ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player . He played 634 games in the NLA. His older brothers Julien and Geoffrey were also professional ice hockey players.
Career
Vauclair went through the youth teams of HC Ajoie and was also used in the youth team of HC Lugano . In the 2001/02 season he came to HC Ajoie for his first professional appearances in the second highest Swiss league. For the 2005/06 season he finally established himself in the National League A , the highest league in Switzerland, when he played 37 games at Genève-Servette HC . The move to HC Lugano followed, where he would play the next five seasons. For the 2011/12 season he was transferred to Friborg-Gottéron , where he was in action until 2020 with a detour to HC Red Ice during the 2016/17 season . In 2019/20 he ended his career and worked as a trainer in the youth department of HC Delémont-Vallée.
International
Vauclair represented Switzerland at the U18 Junior World Cup in 2003 , and he once took part in the Germany Cup with the men's national team.
