Dry river
Dry river , also episodic or ephemeral river , describes a river that falls dry for a long time and only rarely carries water.
This includes rivers that carry water during the rainy season (periodically) or when there is occasional precipitation (episodic). Sections of the river that are affected by ebb do not count as dry rivers.
Occurrence
Dry rivers can be found in many desert areas and other regions of the continents with very little rainfall .
