The Trou Sallé River is a river on the northeast coast of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia .
geography
The river has its source in the center of the Gros Islet quarter at Caye Manje , below Mount Layau ( Stony Hill ) and runs in a northeastern direction. On his way he probably also feeds the artificial ponds of Bella Rosa at Beausejour Stadium (Daren Sammy Cricket Ground). There it turns a little further to the east and soon after it flows into Epouge Bay , into the Atlantic , after taking up a few smaller tributaries . The river is one of the northernmost of St. Lucia, in the south it borders the catchment area of the Lapins River , in the west the catchment area of the Ravine Castagne joins directly , which at Rodney Bay , a suburb of Castries on the west coast, into Rodney Bay Marina flows out.
