Troy Pierce

Troy Pierce (* 1970 in the US state Indiana ) is an international DJ and music producer . He also publishes under the pseudonyms Slacknoise and Louderbach . His music can largely be assigned to the genre of minimal techno .

The former fashion designer Pierce reached via intermediate stations in Chicago and Detroit to New York to there photography to study. In 1994 he started playing records here for the first time. Musically, he soon oriented himself towards minimalist labels from Germany such as Perlon and Playhouse . At the Detroit Music Festival 2001 he met the Polish native Magda and later the Canadian Marc Houle . The three of them formed the music project Run Stop Restore . In 2002 Pierce moved to Berlin and from then on published his music on Richie Hawtin's label M nus . Publications appear under his real name and the pseudonym Louderbach . He produced remixes for other artists such as Ellen Allien , Donnacha Costello and Lawrence . In 2006, together with Magda and Marc Houle, they founded their own label Items And Things .
