Trustco Group Holdings ( Trustco for short ) is a Namibian group of companies based in Windhoek and doing business in Namibia and South Africa .

  • Trustco Insurance, mainly with life and risk insurance ,
  • Institute for Open Learning (IOL), as one of the largest private tertiary educational institutions in the country,
  • Trustco Financial Services, with financial services in South Africa,

The company employs more than 650 people in Windhoek, Ongwediva , Katima Mulilo , Rundu , Keetmanshoop , Walvis Bay as well as Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa . It is among other things sponsor of the Trustco Namibia Sevens tournament in rugby 7 .

In May 2020, there were mass layoffs at Trustco due to the economic situation in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic in Namibia . More than 320 employees were laid off.
