Trust power
Trust Power Limited is a leading New Zealand supplier of power generation and supply of electricity based in Tauranga , which was established in 1993. The company is one of the 50 largest companies in the country and is listed on the NZX . In terms of liability , it is a limited company, which roughly corresponds to a limited partnership without a general partner .
In 2008 the balance sheet total was ND 98 million . The main shareholders in 2019 were Infratil with 51% and the "Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust (TECT)" with 26.8%.
TrustPower is New Zealand's fifth largest energy company and is 100% committed to renewable energies ( hydropower and wind farms ). TrustPower supplies over 260,000 customers with 34 of its own power plants. The plants are located in the regions of Northland , Taranaki , Marlborough , West Coast , Canterbury , as well as on the Bay of Plenty , in the Otago and Nelson region and also in the Manawatu District , thus spread over the entire island.

TrustPower is currently developing a wind farm in “Awhitu”, near Waiuku, as well as the “Wairau Hydro Scheme”, near Blenheim and the “Kaiwera Downs Wind Farm” in the Southland region . In November 2008, the “Snowtown Wind Farm”, the first wind farm in Australia, was opened. In Adelaide a power plant with 16 turbines was erected.
