Try Anthony Bennett Grant (born August 5, 1975 in San José ) is a former Costa Rican soccer player . The defender was a Costa Rican international .

He began his career with CD Saprissa , who became Costa Rican champions in 1994 and 1995 and won the CONCACAF Champions' Cup in 1995 . In 1997 he went to Guatemala, where he played for one year at CSD Comunicaciones (champions 1998) and two years at Universidad SC . In 2000 he returned to Costa Rica and spent three years with CS Herediano . From 2003 to 2008 he was again under contract with CD Saprissa. With the club he won the Costa Rican championships in 2004, 2006, 2007, Invierno 2007 and Verano 2008. In 2005 the CONCACAF Champions' Cup was won, 2004 and 2008 Saprissa reached the final. At the 2005 FIFA Club World Cup , Saprissa finished third. Bennett then played from 2008 to 2010 for Brujas FC , which became champions in December 2009. In February 2010, Bennett was banned for two months for doping with dexamethasone .

Bennett was called up to the Costa Rican national team a total of 24 times between 2002 and 2007 and scored one goal.
