Tscherykau ( Belarusian Чэрыкаў ) is a city with 8177 inhabitants (2009) in Belarus and the administrative center of the administrative unit Tscherykau Rajon . It is located in Mahiljouskaja Woblasz and lies on the Sosh River .

The place is southeast of Mahiljou . Slauharad is located southwest of the village , and Krasnapolle is south .
