TuS Mosella Schweich
The gymnastics and sports club Mosella Schweich is a club in the city of Schweich / Mosel . It was created on August 11, 1946 through the merger of the FV Mosella, which was formed in 1919, and the 1901 Schweich gymnastics club.
In the 1956/57 season, the first football team became champions in the II. Amateur League and rose to the 1st Amateur League . The team stayed there until 1964, when a class was formed from the two amateur classes in the Rhineland. In 1965 he was promoted to the new Rhineland League , which could only be held for one year. Schweich last played in the Rhineland League from 2011 to 2016. The team has been playing in the district league since the 2016/17 season.
In 1988 Mosella received the Sepp Herberger Prize for its youth work.
The association now has departments for badminton , basketball , soccer , youth soccer , health sports , gymnastics , athletics , tennis , table tennis , volleyball and karate .
