The Tuela ( Portuguese Rio Tuela , Spanish Río Tuela ) is the left (eastern) source river of the Tua in northern Portugal . It rises in the Spanish province of Zamora and, after crossing the border, flows exclusively through the Bragança district in Portugal. It joins the Rabaçal to the Tua about three kilometers above the small town of Mirandela .
About three kilometers west of Torre de Dona Chama , a Roman bridge crosses the river.
