Tumulus from La Tossen Ar Run
The tumulus of La Tossen Ar Run (not to be confused with the stone circle of Tossen-Keler and the tumulus Tossen-Ribourden) is located near the junction of the D77 / 79 with the D7 in the east of Yvias in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region Bretagne in France . The mound of earth is located near the water tower and was provided with a stone cross in the early 20th century.
It contains a burial chamber with a cantilever vault made of dry masonry . The excavations of 1899 revealed a dolmen or stone enclosure in a cairn covered with a coat of light gray clay. The approximately 3.5 m high hill has a diameter of around 25.0 m.
A skeleton of a child aged 13-14, flint tools , various slate objects , a polished dolerite ax , pearls , two vases and an almond-shaped roller were found in the chamber .
