The Turbo Mach SA based in Locarno is an international Swiss manufacturer of combined heat and power plants based on gas turbines . In its plant in Riazzino near Locarno, the company develops and produces gas turbine generator sets with an output of one megawatt up to total power plants with an output of 50 megawatts.

The company was founded in 1979. It later came into the possession of the German Babcock Borsig Group. In mid-2004, Turbomach, with its 400 employees and annual sales of 200 million euros, was taken over by the US construction machinery manufacturer Caterpillar and incorporated into the Solar Turbines subsidiary. Turbomach continues to operate under its own brand and has its own agencies in Europe, South America and Asia.
