Turchhausen

Turchhausen is a deserted area in the district of Altenahr in the district of Ahrweiler ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).

Geographical location

The place was on a high plateau at an altitude of 330  m above sea level. NHN in today's forest district "Auf Turchhausen" between the places Altenahr and Kalenborn .

history

In the Middle Ages , Turchhausen belonged to Altenahr . It is not known when the place fell into desolation.

The settlement

The settlement probably only consisted of a few individual homesteads. It can be assumed that it was not a classic place.
