Jannik Dehm (born May 2, 1996 in Bruchsal ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with Holstein Kiel from the second division season 2018/19 .

Career

In 2012 Dehm moved from FC Germania Friedrichstal to the youth team of Karlsruher SC . There he went through the youth teams from the U-17 to the second team. On the second match day of the 2015/16 season, he made his first professional appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga when he was the right-back in the starting line-up in the game against FC St. Pauli . After just one more professional appearance, the cup game against SSV Reutlingen , in which Dehm was expelled from the field in the 90th minute because of an emergency brake , he switched to the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .

After 85 appearances in the Regionalliga Südwest , Dehm signed a two-year contract with the second division Holstein Kiel on June 10, 2018 . There he became a regular player straight away in his first season as a right defender. In preparation for the following 2019/20 season, however, Dehm collided with Sam Hutchinson in the friendly against Sheffield Wednesday and broke his left shin.
