Makana Nsimba "Rudi" Baku (born April 8, 1998 in Mainz ) is a German - Congolese soccer player . The striker is under contract with the second division Holstein Kiel and is a young German national player.
Career
society
From 2007 Baku belonged to the youth department of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . There he played until the summer of 2015, before his path led him to the U19 of the SV Gonsenheim district club for one season . In spring 2016 he made seven appearances as a substitute for the first team in the fifth-class Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar . In their last game of the season, a home game against SpVgg Burgbrohl , he scored the goal to make it 5-3. In the summer of 2016 he came back to 1. FSV Mainz 05 and played 25 games with the U19s in the A-Juniors Bundesliga , scoring four goals and finishing third with his team at the end of the season. In the summer of 2017, he signed a two-year contract with SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the 3rd division . He made his third division debut on August 1, 2017, the 3rd match day, against FSV Zwickau , when he was substituted on in the final phase of the game.
In December 2018, his contract term was extended to 2020 after the game against Karlsruher SC ; Nevertheless, the winger moved to Holstein Kiel for the 2019/20 second division season .
National team
For the U20 test matches against Italy on November 15 and England on November 19, 2018, Baku was nominated by coach Meikel Schönweitz and came on as a substitute.
Private
Baku's family moved from Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo ) to Germany in 1992 . His twin brother Ridle is also a soccer player. His older brother Kokolo, called Dali, (* 1993) played in his youth at SV Darmstadt 98 , where he trained several times with the pros when he was 17, and at FSV Frankfurt .
