Michael Eberwein (born March 11, 1996 in Dellnhausen ) is a German soccer player . He has been under contract with Holstein Kiel since July 2019 .

Career

Eberwein started playing football at SV Oberhaindlfing . Via the other youth stations of SC Eintracht Freising and FC Bayern Munich , he moved to the Regional League West men's team at Borussia Dortmund II in 2015 , where he became a regular player and made 84 appearances in which he scored 28 goals.

In the summer of 2018, Eberwein moved to the 3rd division for SC Fortuna Köln . On the 1st matchday he made his debut in the 1: 4 defeat against Preußen Münster , after he was substituted on in the 22nd minute for the injured Hamdi Dahmani . He had his first starting eleven on matchday 2, in a 2-1 away win against Halleschen FC . With Cologne he was relegated to the Regionalliga at the end of the 2018/19 season .

In the summer of 2019 he joined the second division Holstein Kiel . In the game against VfL Bochum on October 25, 2019, as a substitute, he caused a penalty when he stopped a shot by Bochum in the penalty area in front of the goal line.
