Jonas Sterner (born May 13, 2002 in Husum ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with Holstein Kiel and is a young German national player.

Career

The North Frisian Sterner grew up in his hometown Husum , played there for the Rödemisser SV district club, and later a year for the neighboring TSV Hattstedt. In 2015 he moved to Holstein Kiel's C-Youth , where he has been trained ever since. In the B-Junioren-Bundesliga Sterner was often used in defense, with the U19 it was first the midfield center and later also the outer lanes.

As a regular in the youth team, the defensive player signed his first professional contract in December 2019, which will be valid from July 2020, and completed their winter training camp in Spain with the first team . On the 33rd match day of the second division season 2019/20 he was substituted on in the final phase at 1: 4 in Osnabrück by Fabian Boll , who represented the prevented head coach Ole Werner .
