Hamdi Dahmani (born November 16, 1987 in Cologne ) is a German - Tunisian soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Dahmani played for Alemannia Aachen and Bayer 04 Leverkusen . After working in Düren and Troisdorf, he moved to Fortuna Cologne for the first time in summer 2008 . In the fourth-class Regionalliga West , he came to four seasons. From July to September 2012 he was without a club. Thereupon the city rival and league competitor FC Viktoria Köln signed him . After only one season, the ways parted again.

He was again without a club until January 2014 before he returned to his old place of work. At the end of the 2013/14 season , he was promoted to the 3rd football league with Fortuna . He made his debut in the 3rd division on July 27, 2014, the 1st matchday; in the 1: 2 defeat against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach he was on the pitch over the full distance. As of April 2019, Dahmani is fourth on the club's record player list with 322 competitive appearances.

Dahmani stayed at Fortuna Cologne until summer 2019. In June 2019, league competitor Rot-Weiss Essen announced Dahmani's commitment.
