Turi Weinmann

Turi Weinmann , also Johann Franz Xaver Weinmann (* 1883 in Regensburg , † 1950 ) was a German sculptor .

Life

Turi Weinmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe as well as in Italy , Florence and Rome . Weinmann mainly created portrait busts and female nudes. The motifs for his creations come mainly from old masters of the Renaissance that Weinmann found on his travels in Italy.
