With almost 1000 members (according to the membership survey as of January 1, 2018), the Turnerbund Essen-Frintrop 1903 eV, founded in 1903, is one of the largest clubs in Essen . The association is based in the Essen-Frintrop district in the north-west of Essen and has its own infrastructure.

history

The association was founded in the autumn of 1903 in Frintrop ( Borbeck municipality , today Essen) in the Vosskühler restaurant. The club developed over the years from a pure sports club to a multi-discipline club with 26 departmental and group offers in 2011. The largest departments include the women's department, the jiu-jitsu department and the tennis department .

Sports facilities
