history

In the turmoil of the Franco-Prussian War , club life came to a standstill, whereupon the club was re-established on December 3, 1871. After the introduction of the new civil code, it was entered in the register of associations in 1900.

The gymnastics community Herford bought the existing sports hall and other areas and opened their sports facility on September 20, 1998.
