The tuning Peak is a 2,652 m high mountain peaks in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the Executive Committee Range, it looms in the center of the Mount Hartigan massif .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it using its own surveys and Trimetrogon aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Allen D. Tusing, a meteorologist at Byrd Station in 1959.
