Tutty Tran
Tutty Tran (* 1988 in Berlin as Thomas To Truong Tran) is a German stand-up comedian and actor .
Live and act
Tutty Tran grew up as the son of Vietnamese parents who came to Germany as so-called boat people in the late 1970s in the Berlin district of Neukölln .
Tran began his career with YouTube videos on fitness. Then the focus switched to comedy until Tran started specializing in stand-up comedy in 2016. Tran claims to be the first stand-up comedian in Germany with Vietnamese roots.
Short film fruit & vegetables
In 2017, Tran played the protagonist's son in a supporting role in the short film Obst & Gemüse by director Duc Ngo Ngoc . The film has been shown at several film festivals, including a. at the 18th Landshut Short Film Festival 2017, which won the Best Comedy and Audience Award in the category . At the Viet Film Fest , Obst & Gemüse won the award in the Best Short Film category. The short film was also presented at the Ici Vietnam Festival Mini Edition , the Cottbus Film Festival and the Filmuni Festival on Radio Eins . It was also broadcast on ARD .

In 2019 he was invited to the show Chris Tall Presents ... on Amazon Prime . There was also an appearance at the comedian Faisal Kawusi , a guest appearance on Genial besides - Das Quiz and in the Quatsch Comedy Club . In July 2020, Tran had 260,000 followers on Facebook , 190,000 subscribers on Instagram and 85,000 on YouTube .
Since autumn 2019 Tran has been on tour with his first own live program.
