The Tuxedni Glacier is a 25.6 km long valley glacier in the Chigmit Mountains in southwest Alaska (USA).

geography

The nutrient area of ​​the Tuxedni Glacier is located at an altitude of 1200  m on the northern flank of the Mount Iliamna volcano . The glacier flows in a north-northeast direction down the valley. The 2.2 km wide glacier ends not far from the southern bank of the Tuxedni River . The glacier has formed an alluvial cone through the deposition of the sediments carried along, which protrudes into the Tuxedni River. To the east of the alluvial cone is the estuary of the Tuxedni River. The Tuxedni Glacier is located in Lake Clark National Park .

The glacier was named by the US Geological Survey (USGS) in 1958 .
