The Twarda Kopa is a mountain in the Polish West Tatras at 2026 meters in the Czerwone Wierchy massif .
Location and surroundings
The state border runs over the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains . The Twarda Kopa is located north of the main ridge on the Polish side. North of the summit is the Dolina Kościeliska , specifically its hanging valley Dolina Pyszniańska .

Routes to the summit
The hiking trail to the Twarda Kopa leads along the main Tatra ridge and the Polish-Slovak border.
- ▬ The red ridge trail leads from the Dolina Kościeliska valleyover the summit to the High Tatras .
- ▬ A green marked hiking trail leads from the Ornak hut to the Chuda Przełączka mountain passand on to the top.
The Ornak Hut , Kondratowa Hut and Chochołowska Hut are suitable starting points for climbing out of the valleys .
