The Twitcher Glacier is a 6 km long glacier in southeastern South Georgia . It flows from the Salvesen Range in an easterly direction and flows into Twitcher Bay immediately south of the Herz Glacier and Iris Bay .
Scientists from the South Georgia Survey conducted surveys between 1951 and 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1955 after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792), First Lord of the Admiralty and also known under the name Jemmy Twitcher.
