Two Worlds 2 is an action role-playing game from the Polish development studio Reality Pump and the direct successor to Two Worlds . It was developed by Topware's Polish subsidiary Reality Pump and released on November 9, 2010 for Windows , Mac OS , PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 .

The action takes place five years after the first Two Worlds . Gandohar was able to rise up to become Emperor of Antaloor, while the hero and his sister Kyra were captured. But he is freed by a group of orcs whose prophet sees the player figure as the liberator from Gandohar's rule.

Two Worlds 2 was originally supposed to appear as an add-on to the first part, entitled Two Worlds: The Temptation . However, it was later decided to convert the add-on into a full price title. According to the developers, the many criticisms of the first part have been analyzed and attempts have been made to do justice to it through improvements. In September 2011, an expansion entitled Pirates of the Flying Fortress was released. In addition, in May 2011, Topware released a tower defense offshoot called Two Worlds 2 Castle Defense . There is also a Velvet Game of the Year Edition (with main game and add-on) and an Epic Edition with main game, add-on and Castle Defense.
The voice actors are Dietmar Wunder (Held), Reiner Schöne , Tilo Schmitz (Rogdor), Martina Treger and Shandra Schadt (Kyra).

At Metascore , the PC version of the game achieved a Metascore of 76, the PlayStation 3 version 70 and the Xbox 360 version a Metascore of 67.
In the Looki test , the PC version of Two Worlds 2 achieved a score of 78 percent. The pretty and interesting game world with lots of little adventures and the multiplayer mode were highlighted as positive. Apart from minor errors, the magazine mainly complained about the game world, which cannot be fully explored, and the complications in operation.
Two Worlds 2 sold more than a million copies in the first four weeks of its release .
