Tyketto is an American hard rock and glam metal band. It was founded in New York City in 1987 and has released five studio albums to date.

history

The band was the former singer of 1987 Waysted , Danny Vaughn compiled. Brooke St. James (guitar), Jimi Kennedy (bass) and Michael Clayton (drums) were part of the cast. In 1990 the band signed with Geffen Records , in 1991 the debut Don't Come Easy appeared with the most successful single Forever Young . The second album was rejected by Geffen and was released by CMC International (USA) and Music for Nations (worldwide).

In 1995 Steve Augeri (later Journey lead singer ) replaced Danny Vaughn. Given the musical change in hard rock and metal, the band disbanded in 1996. Vaughn formed a band named after him.

In 2004 and 2007 there were reunions, the activities got more serious from 2008. In 2012 the group released a comeback album with Dig in Deep .
