Tyree Donald Chambers (born June 14, 1994 in Bayreuth ) is a German basketball player. He last played at Le Moyne College in New York State .

career

The son of a German mother and an American father was born in Bayreuth and grew up there. He played in the youth team of the BBC Bayreuth  and made the leap into the club's Bundesliga squad. In November 2012 he made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga and played in a total of 17 BBL games by the end of the 2013/14 season. In these he scored a total of eleven points.

He then went to the United States . Between 2014 and 2016, he studied at Providence College and was also on the college's basketball team. However, his playing times in the first division of the NCAA  were short: Chambers played 14 games for Providence and scored a total of two counters with an average playing time of around two minutes. The future NBA player Kris Dunn was one of his teammates and competitors on the build-up position .

Following the 2015/16 season, he moved to Le Moyne College  from the second NCAA division. There he played a total of 70 games by the end of the 2018/19 game year and achieved an average of 4.9 points per match. He graduated from the university in May 2019 with a degree in accounting and then worked for an auditing company in Boston , Massachusetts .
