UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey was a mixed martial arts event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). It took place on December 30, 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas , Nevada , United States as the final UFC event in 2016 and was broadcast as pay-per-view .

Ronda Rousey played her first fight at the event since her first loss in a professional match against Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 15, 2015, in which she also lost the UFC women's bantamweight title. She competed in the main fight of the event against Amanda Nunes, who was now the new title holder in the weight class.

In the second main bout of the event, Dominick Cruz defended his men's bantamweight title against Cody Garbrandt. In addition, a fight between the former champion of this weight class TJ Dillashaw and John Lineker in the bantamweight division, whose winner in the future the winner of Cruz vs. Garbrandt and thus the bantamweight title holder .

Originally, the event should also include a heavyweight fight between Cain Velasquez and Fabrício Werdum. However, this was canceled on December 25, 2016 by the Nevada State Athletic Commision (NSAC), because, in the opinion of the NSAC, Velasquez would not have been ready for his fight due to an injury. The UFC then stated that Werdum would not contest a fight at the event and that only ten of the planned eleven fights would take place.
