The United States men's national handball team represents the United States in international handball tournaments . It reports to the United States Olympic Committee .

The team has so far participated in handball world championships six times (1964, 1970, 1974, 1993, 1995, 2001), and achieved the best placings with 16th and last place at the 1993 World Cup in Sweden . In 1995 the third from last and thus 21st place was achieved.

The greatest successes at the Pan American Championship were second places in 1983 and 1985. She was able to achieve third place five times, the associated qualification for the World Championships in 2001 for the last time.
