The United States women's national handball team represents the United States at international handball tournaments . It reports to the United States Olympic Committee .
The team has so far participated in handball world championships five times (1975, 1982, 1986, 1993 and 1995), the best placement they achieved with eleventh place at the 1975 World Cups in the Soviet Union and 1982 in Hungary .
At the Pan American Games , the team won the title in 1987 and 1995 . In 2019 the fourth place was taken.
At the Pan American Championship , he won the title in 1986 and 1991 . The team last reached fifth place in 2017 .
