The ЕПЛ9Т (EPL9T) is in the luhanskteplovoz built railcars the Ukrainian Railways , which especially in suburban traffic on networks with 25 kV 50 Hz alternating current is used. It belongs to a series of electric multiple units for drive with DC traction motors and recuperation brakes , where the name is derived from Е лектро п оїзд Л уганський (electric train manufactured in Lugansk ), type 9. The letter T stands for the use of the recuperation brake.
history
The electric train is intended for on-site passenger transport on railway lines covered with 25 kV 50 Hz alternating current with a track width of 1,520 mm in regions with a moderate climate. The maximum speed of the train is 130 km / h, the length of the entire train is 202,000 mm.
The railcar is made up of eight cars: the control car with the internal number 01 , the motor car with the internal number 02 , the sidecar with the internal number 03 , the motor car with the internal number 04 , the motor car with the internal number 06 , the sidecar with the internal number 05 , the motor vehicle with the internal number 08 and the control vehicle with the internal number 07 . The entire multiple unit is therefore made up of eight wagons; from two control cars, four motor cars and two sidecars. At first, the vehicles had the familiar appearance in the photo, later, at the latest with the vehicle with inventory number 015 , the vehicles of this series also received the streamlined body.
Today the railcars in the Fastiv depots of the Piwdenno-Sachidna Salisnyzja (with the inventory numbers 002 , 003 , 005 - 007 , 009 , 011 , 012 ) and Poltava of the Piwdenna Salisnyzja (with the inventory numbers 001 , 004 , 008 , 010 , 013 - 015 ) are used. Simultaneously with the ЕПЛ9Т , analog trains for direct current with the designation ЕПЛ2Т (EPL2T) were manufactured in the Luhansk locomotive factory . 35 trains of this series were delivered.
