history
The company's history begins with the opening of the first line between Kursk via Kharkiv and Losowa in 1869. The then Kursk-Kharkov-Azov Railway was renamed the Kursk-Kharkov-Sevastopol Railway in 1896 and nationalized on June 6, 1897. At the same time, the Kharkov-Nikolayev Railway is being built , which will be nationalized on March 27, 1881. In the course of time, the route network developed significantly, in 1907 the two railways were merged under the names Південні казенні залізниці / Piwdenni kasenni salisnyzi and Южные железные дорогi "(Juschnye schelesnyje). Finally, in 1934, the railways in the Soviet Union were reformed and the company was created in its current form.
