Uchenhofen is a district of the district town of Haßfurt in the Haßberge district in Bavaria .

geography

The parish village is located between the Nassach and Main valleys in the Haßberge Nature Park .

history

According to a state treaty between the Grand Duchy of Würzburg and the Duchy of Saxony-Hildburghausen , Uchenhofen, which previously belonged to the Saxon Office of Königsberg, was ceded to Würzburg in 1807.

The Protestant village church was rebuilt after severe damage in the Second World War . In 2006 the church received a new organ in the style of Johann-Markus Oestreich from the workshop of Orgelbau Waltershausen GmbH (Thuringia).

There are still some half-timbered houses in the village . Between 1870 and 1920 there was the Communebrauerei Haßfurt in the village .

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent place was incorporated into the district town of Haßfurt.
