Udo Guggenbichler

Udo Guggenbichler (born August 10, 1974 in Villach ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and entrepreneur. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

Guggenbichler graduated from the Higher Technical College for Manufacturing Technology in Ferlach and passed the Matura there in 1995. In the following year he enrolled in law at the University of Vienna and also completed training as a safety specialist and fire protection officer in 1995. From 1995 Guggenbichler was active as a consultant in the training for safety specialists in Carinthia, Styria and Vienna and worked as an external safety specialist. In 1998 he found a job at the Mödling Occupational and Social Medical Center as a safety specialist, where he was also a member of the supervisory board of this company between 2001 and 2016. After training as a mediator in 2004, Guggenbichler was also active in this professional field. Since September 2, 2016 Guggenbichler has been the owner of the management consultancy UGT-Technical Solutions. Guggenbichler is a graduate of the University of Klagenfurt (MSc).

His wife Helena Guggenbichler became Secretary General in the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection in 2018 .

politics

Guggenbichler is a member of the Vienna academic fraternity Albia and since 2012 chairman of the Vienna Academic Ball Committee - Association for Science, Research, Culture and Human Rights . He is also chairman of the Austrian Pennäler Ring and secretary in the Association of Austrian Security Experts. He has been the organizer of the Vienna Academic Ball for many years .

Guggenbichler was sworn in on November 25, 2010 as a member of the state parliament and member of the local council. In the FPÖ Town Hall Club he is the environmental spokesman. He is also active within the party as district party chairman of the FPÖ- Währing and is a member of the state party leadership and the state party executive. He also holds the function of a member of the FPÖ federal party executive and the FPÖ federal party leadership.
