Udo Quak

Udo Quak (* 1935 in Breslau ) is a German author and educator . He lives and works in Syke ( Diepholz district , Lower Saxony ).

biography

After studying pedagogy , philosophy , journalism and mathematics in Dortmund , Münster and Bochum , Quak was a teacher and headmaster in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony from 1959 to 1978 . Subsequently (1978–91) he was a school inspector and then (1991–97) head of department in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Education . He has been retired since 1997. In addition to his professional activity, Quak was active in church committees: from 1984 to 1991 he was chairman of the Syke church district council and since 2001 he has been chairman of the church district council of Syke- Hoya .
