Udo Vach

Udo Vach (* 1950 in Berndorf / Twist valley ) is a German Protestant theologian , pastor and author . He was also program director at ERF Medien in Wetzlar.

Live and act

Vach completed an apprenticeship as a businessman before he decided to study Protestant theology at the Dietzhölztal-Ewersbach Theological Seminary . He then worked as a pastor in the Free Evangelical Churches in Lebach , Saarlouis and Haan . In August 1986 he switched to ERF Medien, where he worked until his retirement in July 2015 with a focus on editing and was responsible for working with around 900 volunteer authors of the ERF Plus radio program . At many German-speaking Bible schools and theological training centers he trained publishers to help design radio programs and was on the road to lectures in congregations. As program director he was part of the overall management of the station from 1995 to 2012 and helped shape the theological profile of ERF Medien through his commitment.

Vach is an honorary member of the trust council of the German Evangelist Conference and was its managing director for several years. He worked on the media committee of the Federation of Free Evangelical Congregations and on the advisory board of the magazine "Christsein heute" and is the author of various non-fiction books . Vach is involved in the management group of the "Glaube am Montag" network in Germany.

Private

Vach is married with three children and lives in Waldsolms- Kröffelbach .
