Udo Wollmeiner (* August 1935 in Bigge ) is a freelance artist from Oeventrop .

biography

Udo Wollmeiner studied architecture , graphics and painting . After two and a half years at the Westphalian state curator , restoring frescoes , Romanesque and Gothic wall paintings , he settled in Arnsberg as a freelance painter in 1965. In 1971 he was given a teaching position and worked 10 years as a lecturer at the adult education center. He is currently working in his studio in Arnsberg-Oeventrop.

Udo Wollmeiner has been portrayed in film documentaries on ARD, ZDF and WDR as well as in many publications in books and magazines.

Wollmeiner is a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists .

Udo Wollmeiner's art is essentially representational. He prefers to draw his subjects from fairy tales, legends, myths and everyday scenes that are perceived as amiable. The colorful serenity of his work corresponds to the painter's unbiased observation of man and nature.
