The UeNa-tip was a free weekly newspaper and advertising paper that was mainly distributed in the southern Pinneberg district . The UeNa tip was distributed free of charge to households every Wednesday in the vicinity of Uetersen , Tornesch , the Haseldorfer Marsch , the Seestermüher Marsch and in parts of Elmshorn, Pinneberg and Wedel. He thus served the segment of so-called advertising papers. The printed edition of the UeNa-tip was around 37,800 copies (2017).

Gerrit Bastian Mathiesen and Jan Schönstedt have been the editorial directors since July 1, 2016. You are responsible for all of the media company's products, i. H. also the Quickborner Tageblatt , Schenefelder Tageblatt , Wedel-Schulauer Tageblatt , Barmstedter Zeitung , Elmshorner Nachrichten , Uetersener Nachrichten as well as the Sunday and weekly newspapers and the digital media.

The editors were Werner F. Ebke and the publisher Jan Dirk Elstermann.

Due to the corona crisis , the weekly newspaper had to be temporarily discontinued on April 1, 2020; the last edition appeared on March 25, 2020. A resumption or merger with the weekly newspaper Der Wednesday , also published by A. Beig Verlag, is under discussion.

The first edition of the advertising paper appeared on November 13, 1980 under the name Neuer Uetersener Anzeiger . With a length of 8 to 16 pages, it initially appeared every two weeks on Thursdays with a circulation of 13,500 copies. The printing took place in the in-house print shop. The circulation rose to 15,000 newspapers by the end of 1981. In 1982 the name was changed to Einfach Toll - Der Uetersener Anzeiger and since January 1984 the sheet has been called Uetersener Anzeiger and now appeared before every long Saturday with a circulation of 24,100 copies. From January 13, 1988 onwards, the advertising paper appeared on Wednesdays in Berlin format and was named UeNa-tip - the weekly magazine for the whole family . It comprised 12 to 20 pages. The printing was now carried out at a printing company in Heide. Between 1995 and 1997 the circulation rose from 31,500 to 37,200 copies. Since 1999, the circulation has been around 45,700 newspapers and in 2000 the paper was renamed UeNa-tip - Der Kreisanzeiger , the print run in the first quarter of 2017 comprises 37,800 copies. On November 9, 2005, the weekly newspaper celebrated its 25th birthday with a special edition of 48 pages.
