Ufuk Özbek (born September 1, 1992 in Castrop-Rauxel ) is a Turkish football player . His preferred position is the offensive midfield. His brother Barış Özbek is also a professional footballer.

Career

Karakoc began his career at Blau-Gelb Schwerin and played for the youth teams of FC Schalke 04 from 2003 to 2010 . For the 2010/11 season he moved to the third division 1. FC Saarbrücken .

For the 2013/14 season, Ufuk moved to Borussia Dortmund's U-23 team , where he signed a two-year contract. From summer 2016 he was under contract with Rot Weiss Ahlen in the regional league. In the winter break of 2016/17 he was sorted out by the coach Erhan Albayrak and left the club for Turkey. In the second half of the season he was on the pitch for Kastamonuspor and moved on to third division Tepecikspor in summer 2017 .

Ufuk took part with the Turkish U-17 national team in the U-17 World Cup in 2009 , where he reached the quarter-finals with the team. Ufuk was used there in all five games.
