Ugo Frigerio (born September 16, 1901 in Milan , † July 7, 1968 in Garda ) was an Italian athlete .

Ugo Frigerio was the first Italian Olympic champion in athletics in 1920 - at least at the modern Olympic Games. With three Olympic gold medals, he is one of the most successful walkers alongside Robert Korzeniowski . Between 1920 and 1932 he won three gold and one bronze medal at the Olympic Games. Frigerio also won his preliminary fights in 1920 and 1924 (walking was not on the Olympic program in 1928). Thus, the British Olympic champion from 1932 Tommy Green and the Latvian Olympic runner-up Jānis Daliņš are the only walkers that Ugo Frigerio could leave behind at the Olympic Games.
