Uli Lindner

Jan Ulrich Lindner (born August 6, 1984 in Viersen ) is a German author and editor in the field of fantasy .

Life

Lindner studied ethnology, geography and history in Cologne. After winning several competitions for texts for the role-playing game " Das Schwarze Auge ", he first became editor for this game in 2009 and in the same year he was accepted into the core editorial team. This activity ended in 2011 with the dissolution of the core editorial team. He was also a quest writer for the DSA browser game " Herokon Online ".

From 2013 Lindner worked full-time for Uhrwerk Verlag and played a key role in the creation of the pen-and-paper role-playing game system Splittermond and the associated game world "Lorakis". In 2016 he took over the management of the publishing house. As part of the publisher's insolvency proceedings announced in 2019, he announced his withdrawal from the company.
