Ullrich Heilemann

Ullrich Heilemann (born October 26, 1944 in Leipzig ) is a German economist .

Heilemann was Vice President of the Rheinisch-Westfälisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (RWI) in Essen from 1974 to 2004 , and from 1995 to 2004 Professor in the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Duisburg . From 2004 until his retirement in 2010 he was Professor of Empirical Economic Research and Director of the Institute for Empirical Economic Research Leipzig . Ullrich Heilemann is a member of the scientific advisory board of the economic policy journal Wirtschaftsdienst .

He published numerous and widely read non-fiction books.
