Ulrich Craemer (born February 1, 1940 ) is a former German journalist and moderator . Among other things, he was employed by ARD and ZDF . He later became editor-in-chief for television at SWF .

Life

Craemer studied political science , history and newspaper studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He then worked as an editor at the ZDF Landesstudio Bayern. From 1968 to 1970 he was an editor at CBC / Radio Canada in Toronto. He moderated programs such as Die Drehscheibe (1980–1982) or the tele-illustrated (1982–1990). From 1991 to 1993 he took over the management of the Bavarian State Studio. From 1993 to 1996 he was editor-in-chief of television for Südwestfunk. The central television newsroom of ARD: ARD-aktuell also fell into his area of ​​responsibility . In 1993 he switched to SWF, where he moderated the political magazine Report Baden-Baden from January 1996 to June 1998 . He took part in special programs for state and federal elections.
