Ulrich Dempwolff

Ulrich Dempwolff (born 1945) is a German mathematician . From 1976 to 2010 he was Professor of Mathematics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern .

Life

Dempwolff graduated from the Gutenberg Gymnasium in Wiesbaden in 1965 . After completing his studies, he did his doctorate in 1971 with Dieter Held at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and completed his habilitation in 1973 at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg .

Dempwolff is interested in finite groups , finite geometries and combinatorics .
