Ulrich Deparade (born January 23, 1954 ) is a former German soccer player who played second division soccer for Halleschen FC Chemie and Einheit Wernigerode in the 1970s. He is a multiple GDR junior national player.

Athletic career

Ulrich Deparade first appeared in the GDR-wide football scene at the age of 17 , when he played three international matches with the GDR junior national team in 1971 . He was used as a striker.

Until 1972 Deparade played in the junior team of Halleschen FC Chemie (HFC). For the 1972/73 season he was included in the squad of the 2nd team of the HFC, which played in the second-rate GDR league . In the 22 league games he was also used in attack 17 times and scored four goals. Since the first team was relegated from the league at the end of the season , the HFC II had to compete in the third-class district league Halle . The first team managed to get back up immediately, in which Deparade was involved with four missions in the GDR league and one goal. In the district league team he was still a regular player, but the HFC II missed promotion. Also in 1974/75 Deparade was part of the district league line-up. This time the team became district champions and rose again to the GDR league. Deparade remained intended for the 2nd team, and with his 18 missions and six goals he was instrumental in ensuring that the HFC II was the 1976 relay winner in the league.

For the 1976/77 season, the 2nd teams in the GDR league were dissolved and then played in the newly founded junior league . Since Deparade was no longer eligible to play there at the age of 22, he moved to the GDR league club Einheit Wernigerode. After he had only been called up twice as a substitute up to the 6th matchday, he then conquered a regular place in the league team as a left winger. So he came to the end of the season in the 22 league games on 19 appearances, but scored only two goals. Also in the 1977/78 season Deparade belonged to the player base in the league team of Einheit Wernigerode. This time he was used in 20 league games, but came only once to score.

Ulrich Deparade was no longer performed in the squad of the GDR league club Einheit Wernigerode for the 1978/79 season and was no longer used in the team. Since he no longer appeared in higher-class football elsewhere and at a later time, the career of the 24-year-old came to an end in 1978. This leaves the former junior national player with a record of only 78 appearances in five GDR league seasons, in which he scored 14 goals.
