Ulrich K. Hefner (* 1961 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a police officer , journalist and crime writer .

Ulrich Hefner is a member of the Police Poets , the syndicate , the interest group of German-speaking authors (IGDA) and the German Press Association . He is married, has two children and lives in Lauda-Königshofen .

His crime novels are set on the North Sea, and he has located his chief investigator Martin Trevisan in Wilhelmshaven. Under the pseudonym Max Zorn , he writes thrillers / crime novels about his main character Vito Falk, which are set on the Baltic Sea. The other thrillers span the whole world.

In addition to Germany, his crime novels are also published in the Netherlands , Poland , Russia , Spain and the Ukraine .

Awards

In 2002 he won the ZDF short story competition escript 2002, which was endowed with the Adolf Grimme Prize .
