Ulrich Heimann

Ulrich Heimann (born February 14, 1964 in Haslach im Kinzigtal ) is a German chef .

Career

Heimann comes from the Black Forest , where he started his apprenticeship as a chef at the Gasthaus Ochsen in Fischerbach in 1980 . Then he went to the Bundeswehr in the officers' mess in Cologne. From 1988 various positions followed in Frankfurt am Main and in 1991 graduated as master chef in Munich. In 1991 he became head chef at the Arcadia restaurant in Frankfurt am Main , and in 1992 Prince Frederik Room at the Hotel Abtei in Hamburg .

Heimann has been Executive Chef of the Le Ciel restaurant in the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden since 2005 , which was awarded a Michelin star from 2006 to 2019 .
