Ulrich Hinse

Ulrich Hinse (born April 13, 1947 in Munster , Westphalia ) is a German crime director and author .

Life

Hinse comes from Münster in Westphalia. He worked for 17 years as a detective in the Federal Criminal Police Office , then in the State Criminal Police Office in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . In the authority he built up the state security department and headed it for 13 years until he moved to the Ministry of the Interior of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as a consultant for police prevention . Retired in 2007, he made a pilgrimage in the same year on foot the Camino frances from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela and in 2008 the north route from Ribadeo.

Hinse is a member of the Police Poets and was the winner of the 2005 Schwerin Literature Festival.
